Girl, Disney World, New Jersey & Clarke

What do baby girl, Disney World, New Jersey and Clarke all have in common???

ME! That's right, I'm pregnant with a baby girl and Clarke, baby and I just just got back from a two week trip to Disney World and New Jersey. We met my parents, Tim, Amy, A.J. & Jane in Florida and spent a few days at Disney World and Harry Potter World! It was such a fun trip!! Completely exhausting but so worth it.

Then my mom, Clarke and me drove up the coast with Amy's family to their home in New Jersey where we spent 8 days. It was so fun to see Clarke get to know their family better. It's been hard living across the country from them but we are so excited that they are moving to Utah this summer!!! YAY!!! Clarke did AMAZING on the trip. He was exhausted and had a few slight meltdown moments but overall, he was such a good little traveler. Alex wasn't able to come with us and we missed him so much those two weeks!! It's so nice to be home with him.

So our life is pretty crazy right now. We left our apartment in Logan at the beginning of May and are living at my parents' house in Alpine for the month. We are moving to Albuquerque, NM in a few weeks for Alex to start an internship at Kirtland Air Force Base. We are very excited for this neat opportunity!!! Hopefully it's a good experience for Alex. Clarke and I will be out there for the first 7 weeks or so of his internship and then we'll come home to my mom's to do doctors appointments and such. Alex will be back about 3 weeks after us. Then we plan to head home to Logan to get ready for school and baby girl in the fall. It's going to be a wild summer but we're excited for a new adventure!

Here are some (okay, a lot of) pictures of our trip.

We got to stop by and see Grammy and Poppy Perez on our way up the coast! It was so great to see them!

There was a lot of Baby Einstein going on this trip

Oh just some pictures of Clarke...the usual.

Here are some recent pictures and videos of Clarke because let's be honest, that's the only reason anyone looks at this blog.

This boy has a slight pacifier addiction. He doesn't just want to suck on one to go to sleep but he usually has to have some to hold and play with while he's in his crib. We're going to have to do something about it in the near future. This is what he looked like when I came in to get him from his nap last week. Cute boy.

He thought he was a pretty cool dude with these sunglasses on.

My dad made this car for Clarke while my parents were here last weekend and he LOVES it. He is obsessed with putting keys in locks so there is a little key hole in the car which he adores.

Sorry if this video makes you dizzy but Clarke was sure enjoying himself.

Clarke has no fear of water as you can tell from this video. I think he's going to be our little fish.

Spring Break

We had the amazing opportunity to get out of Logan and head south for our very first ever college spring break! It was amazing! Alex's grandparents have a cute little house/condo in this retirement community in St. George and we were able to stay there for a week while they were back at their home in Tooele. We are so grateful for their generosity! It was such a fun trip and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Here are some pictures of our trip (most of them were taken on the same day - sorry).

Oh and yes, I cut my hair. Sorry there are no good pictures of it but it's way short and I love having less hair to deal with! I felt like I was drowning in it at night!

Silly boy

So Clarke took his first steps a week or two ago and he decided he had been there, done that and he no longer wants to walk. We're still working on it but at least we know he can walk, right? He's such a little sweetheart. Here are some videos of him being silly and plain old cute.

Clarke loves taking baths and he just covers his eyes as we pour tons of water over his head to wash out his hair. Oh and it's a good thing Clarke has such a big tummy to keep him modest!

Sliding/crawling backwards is his new thing and he knows we think it's funny so he performs for us all the time. Here's the first time he did it.

Haircut

We were giving Clarke a bath the other night and this is what Alex did to his hair:

I decided it was time for a real haircut for this boy. Here he is after:

This boy had a lot of hair!!! I miss it but I think he looks pretty handsome with his new haircut!
